North Ari Atoll, officially known as Alifu Alifu Atoll, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Maldives. Located approximately 60–70 km west of Malé, it is famous for its luxury island resorts, crystal-clear lagoons, white sandy beaches, and some of the best diving and snorkeling sites in the Indian Ocean. It is typically reached in 25–30 minutes by seaplane or by speedboat from Malé, depending on the island.
North Ari Atoll is considered one of the Maldives’ premier diving destinations. Unlike many other atolls, it is renowned for its thilas (underwater pinnacles) and kandus (channels), which attract abundant marine life
Unlike many remote atolls that require seaplane transfers, many South Malé resorts are just a short speedboat ride from the airport, allowing guests to begin their holiday quickly and conveniently
South Malé Atoll offers spectacular coral reefs and abundant marine life, making it ideal for beginners and experienced divers alike.
